Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Credit Card lawsuit
I received today a notice of case management conference against me by citibank. With it there is the option of an ADR. I'm a full-time college student. I don't really work, and I don't own anything...my father was the one that helped me with my credit cards because part of my debt was from my college tuition but he passed away..I can't make the payments on my own. I sent them a letter explaining my situation and saying that I'm gonna be graduating in about a year and that then I would be able to work with them on payment. What should I do?? What can they do to me?..I'm totally in the dark here. any help will be greatly appreciated.
