Re: How do credit card liens and levys work

1. Quit paying your credit cards.

2. They sue you.

3. They win, and they now have a judgment.

4. They place a lien on your property by filing an abstract of judgment, so if you sell it, you have to pay them.

5. They place a levy on your bank account by filing a writ of execution, and the sheriff goes and takes the money from your bank and gives it to them.
