Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Credit card return fraud

: i work assets protection for a large sporting goods

company in california. I am currently investigating a case

with a confirmed loss of approximately $20000.00.

The loss was created by an individual using his personal

credit cards. Records indicate that the individual has

conducted hundreds of transactions involving the return

of merchandise to his credit cards. When the subject

creates a large balance on his credit card, he cancels the

card and is reimbursed the balance. When conducting

returns he indicates that the merchandise was purchased

using his credit card. Records indicate that of the

hundreds of items returned to his card, were never

purchased by that card. I am interested in both criminal as

well as civil prosecution. Any help or direction would be

appreciated.

Re: Credit card return fraud

any lawyer can handle a civil case of this nature and also prepare a case to present to the police for investigation. this is not a difficult case.
