credit cards
if my husband passes away before I do and we both have our own credit cards, am I responsible for his debts?

Maybe. A creditor would have to file a probate action, not an inexpensive avenue. Unless your husband owed a large amount of money to one creditor, it is unlikely that any creditor will file a probate.
