I need your advice on the best way to negotiate with debt creditors and avoid pitfalls?

A - Make sure you demand verification of the debt.

B - If the debt is past the statute of limitations, do not negotiate with them.

C - Avoid debt consolidation companies.

D - Just be nice and friendly.
