Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Credit Report Copy

We were involved in a transaction with an RV Dealership. They ran our credit and we decided not to do the deal. They are saying that they can not give us a copy of our credit report and that to do so would be against the law. Is this correct? Aren't we entitled to a copy of our credit report?

Re: Credit Report Copy

They are blowing smoke, be glad you didn't deal with this dealership.

But why would you even visit a dealership without already having copies of your own credit reports?
