Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

daughter made frauded my signiture on a credit card so she can get it and ended up spending vvase amounts of money and i just found out about this and i called the correct things but all they did was cancel card but left the huge bill......and since my daughter put my name with out my consent could i sue her for fraud and also find a way to get the huge bill removed from me and just left for her since she was the was the charged the card?

If your daughter is an adult and stole your card you could press criminal charges against her and or sue her for the amount owed. If you had timely reported your card as missing or stolen then the credit card companies would have cut off a lot of those charges. Depending on where she charged things you could argue that they did not check for ID or signatures and perhaps get those charges cancelled but then they would go after your daughter. Due to the close familial relationship i.e. mother daughter, your claims will be viewed with suspicion.
