Old debt

my brother had his car repo'd in 1997 that I helped sign for credit lease loan, was removed from credit bereau 3 years ago, today I found a debt request letter in my mail box for the repo unpain amount, please advise

Put it in your sock drawer and ignore it. If they persist, bring it to a local lawyer.

Lawsuits are barred by the four-year statute of limitations, but they can ask you for it forever. Some people fall for it and pay anyway, and that's what keeps these guys in business.

If they call, tell them they can call as much as they want to, but you are not going to pay them a dime.
