Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Debtor says I'm a thief even though I'm paying.

Debt collector says they will write down ''Theft'' on our account over 663 dollars. I made payments to the collection agency two months in a row so far but they want it all up front. Am I on firm ground as long as I'm paying? (200 two months ago and last month).

The only thing they can really do is file a lawsuit in and it is very unlikely they would go through that trouble and expense if payments are being made. If I were you I would just continue to make the payments and if they call you hang up on them.
