Does moms(deceased) trust have to pay outstanding credit card bills.

If there are sufficient assets in the trust to pay the decedent's debts, and the trustee distributes the assets to the beneficiaries without first paying those debts, the trustee may be exposing him or herself, as well as the beneficiaries to whom the assets were distributed, to personal liability for the debts.
