Defending myself in court hearing

I have a court hearing to defend my claim of exeption. My checking acct. was levyed, my bills or behind I have an eviction notice, my child is about to be expelled from day carefor none payment, I have check that have bounced. How do I defend myslef in court this is the thrid time that this creditor has came after me for my ex-wifes acct. In which we where separated at the time. The frist time the judge awarded them $2000.00 dollars of my money now there tring too collect intrest.what can I do too defend myself. My court date is coming up May 22.2003 I also went out on disability right after this and was out for three weeks what can I do. Thank you

I think you have a lot of issues and you need to get an attorney. Call legal aid and get some direct advice; sit down and have a meeting with them. Your presentation will be important at the exemption hearing. If they will not send someone to represent you(and they probably won't), get a roadmap that will help you be organzized when you come to the hearing.
