Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
A dental office is deducting funds from my checking account for dental services never provided. I went to the dental office one time to have a broken tooth taken care of. The tooth was extracted and according ot my dental insurance that cost was $15.00. However the dental office hads charged and deducted from my checking account $410.00 every month since my visit. Finally last month I went to the bank and closed my account and had to reopen a new one and reset all of my automatic deductions, etc. What law was broken by the dental office if any? and what are my rights?

Have you contacted the dentist's office to seek a refund of the money being taken and to stop this? There are time limits, so you should take action ASAP..
Perhaps you may want to sue for the money. I have no idea how much is involved. or what you did to put them on notice. It may be a simple letter from an attorney may help. If you would like to discuss this further please feel free to call. 818 345-0123
