Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

My dentist company has been charging me for a payment that has been already paid since June 2010. I went to the bank to get proof of the payment and it showed that the dentist company already received the payment. What can i do because the dentist company is saying that the payment isn't there and they are charging me for that payment and with interest

What do you mean, "they have been charging you"? Have they been calling you? Writing letters? Are the calls or letters from the dentist's, or some collection agency? What they are doing is an unfair debt collection practice and you can sue them for a free $1000 plus your attorney fees. Keep a log with the dates and times, keep copies of everything and if you must use the telephone write down who it is you spoke to.
