Re: enforcing an oral contract
Your only recourse is probably to file a lawsuit for the money owed to you. Feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss this further.
Re: enforcing an oral contract
You have two years from the date of default to file a lawsuit against your former friend. If you're in Northern CA, I'd be happy to help.
Re: enforcing an oral contract
You have two years from the date of the breac of a verbal agreement to file a lawsuit to collect on the amount owed. Other than sending demand letters or phone calls requesting payment, you cannot really "force" someone to you without going to court and getting a judgment. Contact me if you need further assistance.
Re: enforcing an oral contract
You have two years from the date of a breach of an oral contract to sue the other party. For proof, you will need cancelled checks or other proof of your payment. Please call me if you have any other questions.
