Failure to Refund

Hi,

I have signed a contract to ask a firm to find me a job, it includes 2,500 dollars. The contract states if I cancelled then 10 percent of that amount is not refundable. The firm now said that they will only refund 50 percent because they have already found an employer that is going to interview with me. On the contract it says ''only after the job offer is confirmed, that the 2500 amount is not refundable''. Now I'm wondering can sue them for failure to refund, and will I be getting the money back? Please help!

You can take them to small claims court to sue for the refund. Whether or not you will win will depend on what the entire contract says,
