Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

The Fair Credit Reporting Act of 1971

I was told that in this Federal legislation there are 326 steps that where layed out by the goverment, with the intent to regulate how information is placed on an individuals credit report. I need very much to confirm the truth in this, and also request where I may find a copy of such federal law in it's entirty.

Thank you in advance.
