Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

My father recently passed away and he owes a debt towards a travel trailer that is in my possession. I have taken over payments of said trailer. How would I go about transferring this vessel from my fathers name to my name (California)

Whether you are entitled to the travel trailer depends on whether your father was married and whether you have siblings. Also, did your father have a will or trust?
