Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

If i feel that i should not have to pay for certain overdraft fees and the bank wont help me out, am i aloud to just close my account and not pay or are there legal consequences for that.

Chase will just report you to Chex Systems and you won't be able to get another bank account. So pay the bogus overdraft fees or take the consequences.
