Finance companies

Im getting harassed by the finance companiy about my car payment. What are the laws regarding repossession and harassment?

The original creditor is not governed by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, so they can call you all they want. If you get behind, they can repossess the car. If you think you are behind and will not get caught up, you may want to talk to them about a voluntary give back.
