I use a service: Advanced Personnel Profiles 805-579-0630 who can do a search of public records. You may, however, check the court websites for the counties in which you lived and search by case number. Some counties have such an ability, some don't.

Good luck

Well, you are going to have to do some digging. First, determine if this is in California or Washington State. If in California, I cannot help you, I'm not licensed there. If in Washington, I'd start by going to the court(s) where you live - Superior and District - and ask the clerk's office to direct you to the records search function. If there is a judgment you will be able to find it and see what it was for. could be a mistake in indentity - and if that is the case you need to contact the credit reporting agencies and tell them that they are wrong - in writing.
