Form for response to cival claim
need legal form to respond to a filed civil complaint by a collection agency. needs to be submitted to court and to collection agency within 30 days. this debt is 8 years old and the last payment made was almost 4 years ago.

Obviously, there might be an issue of the running of the statute of limitation, which you might plead as an affirmative defense.

You can file a judicial form answer or a specific answer on 28 line paper. You may also have a cross-complaint based upon a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Act if the date that the debt became delinquent passed the statute of limitations. Please call me if you have any questions.

If you have been served a SUMMONS & COMPLAINT you mut file an ANSWER. You will need to list affirmative defenses, one of which is the statute of limitations. Call me directly at 6192223504.
