Forms for answering a summons

I have recieved a summons and must answer in 30 days. Do I answer on a specific form or just follow their complaint's form, using Roman numerals etc.

Re: Forms for answering a summons

You can use the Court Answer Form, but you have to fill it out correctly including all of your legal defenses to the lawsuit. Sometimes, if you are liable, you may have to pay attorney fees and costs to the Plaintiff's attorney. If you fax me the complaint, I can provide you with free consultation.

Do your best to follow the form of the summons. File your response quickly in case you make mistakes so they can be remedied. The clerk will tell you if you have not followed the proper protocol.
