Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

I found civil code 1786.18(a)(4) stating that a credit agency cannot report my unlawful detainer if it was settled by an agreement. I recently went through an unlawful detainer and the judgment was for me to pay the landlord monthly until the money owed was all paid. There was no judgment against me saying I lost the case, in fact the case is still open and to be dismissed completely after all money is paid. My problem is that First Advantage Saferent has a report on my credit report, therefore blacklisting me and making it difficult for me to find a new home. Can I get them to remove this? Can I sue them?

If there's a judgment against you, then that would be reported. However, if you make all of your payments, when done, you can ask the plaintiff to move to set aside the judgment.
