There are many ways of collecting from a till tap, keeper, or even a judgment debtor exam. If you fax me a copy of the judgment, I will provide you with free consultation and let you know what I would charge in order to collect your judgment. My fax is 714 363 0229.

If your debtor is the owner of a business from which he receives a salary, a writ of garnishment is appropriate. If he is in control of his salary, that is when or whether to take it, your likely to get nothing from such a writ. Your best approach is a writ of execution. That allows you to execute against any assets your judgment debtor possesses, including, if his company is a corporation, his ownership of his company. That alone should get him to pay your judgment, or at least make arrangements to pay it off.
