Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Recently I recieved notice of withholding documents stating a collection company will garnish my checks. Is there a form i can fill out to counter this or what are my options? Thank you.

Re: garnishment

If a collection company is garnishing your wages, most likely they already sued you and recieved a court judgment agaisnt you. You could either try to go back to court and set aside the judgment (which is almost impossible without a VERY good reason), or you might consider filing for bankruptcy.
