Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
Harrasment calls
Can a collection agency legally contact or harrass your place of work to collected on debt owed? I am not allowed to receive personal call of that matter at work, how should I inform them to no longer contact me at my place of business? Please advise.
Thank You!

Re: Harrasment calls
They cannot call your place of employment if they know you are not allowed to receive personal phone calls and they cannot discuss the debt with you employer. Fee free contact my office if you need further assistance.
If you are considering bankruptcy, you should file before October 17, 2005 because the new law will make it much more difficult to file bankruptcy. I offer a free 30-minute consultation for new bankruptcy matters.
