Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
Homeowners association problem
We are a 8 unit condominium. We had a problem with a unit on the first floor which his kitchen had a one time leak due to water not going out of the building beacuase of a blockage. We fixed the problem after we found out what caused the problem. He stopped paying his dues 54 months ago and he is not paying till we fix his unit, he says there is a mold there due the one time leakage and also he is not willing to participate in the termite work we must do in the building. What should we do. Is there any law out there i can show it to him.

Re: Homeowners association problem
Show him the agreement he signed when he purchased his condominium. That is legally binding and I am sure that it provides for this circumstance.
