Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

I'am in collection on medical bill, Ican only pay fifty dollors a week but they say i have to pay more..if I start paying them what I can..cad they take me to court?

Yes they can but often will not sue if you and they have an agreed payment. If you just pay and they dont agree, they can sue.

Yes, the creditor can certainly sue you, even if you make an agreement. How much is the debt? Are you having other financial difficulties? You may wish to speak to a consumer debt counselor or attorney in your area.
