Idenity theft and fraud
Do I have to have a lawyer to sue someone for idenity theft and fraud. And if someone used my social security number ans signed my name , and got a credit account at sears, is it me that has to start the action against this person?

You may file as a victim to protect yourself from the debts. If the individual has assets you may wish to sue if ot prosecute with the D.A.'s ofice. Contact me directly.
