Identity fraud

Upon closing a bank account from major bank. The teller stole various checks and the bank cashed them after I had closed my account. What recoursed do I have against the bank?

You are not responsible for checks that are cashed based upon a forged signature. The bank will need to go back to the companies or persons who accepted the checks without proper identification.

Simply put, you have been the victim of a criminal act which you may ask the police to prosecute as a crime, and/or complain to the bank and ask for reimbursement, and/or sue civilly to recover all of your damages from this act.
