Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Hello, I am currently involved in a collections debt lawsuit for credit debt. The Judge handling my case has allowed a Mediation program to resolve my case. I must submit a "short mediation brief" to the mediators office 3 days before the actual mediation. I am "in pro per" defending myself. How do I write a short mediation brief? Thank you for whatever you can help me with.

Jamie

If you have a defense to the lawsuit, you should get a lawyer, because your contract with the credit card issuer says that if you win, you will also win your attorney fees. I take credit card cases all the time and I make money on them (when there is a good defense). Or maybe the lawsuit isn't all that important to you.

A letter that simply and clearly explains your side of the case, with references to any legal authority you think would be helpful to the mediator, and laid out in well organized clear and simple statements, will be sufficient for any mediator I've ever known.
