judgement collection against me

after a judgement is ordered by the court, how long before creditor can enforce against my bank account; my husband is not named in the suit, only me for a very small business i owned but it now defunct. can they go after him. we have no income right now and i'm on disability, does any of that matter. we have a car which we are paying on small payments so not a lot of equity in car - ford still ownes it really, can they go after that even though this is a money judgement. thank you for any help you can give me. julia

More than likely, they will go after any bank account with your name on it. You will have to file a request for exemption for your disability money in the account.
