Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
judgement filed, no court date
I received a certificate of summary of judgement, and I understand there should have been a court date. I was never notified of court date. what are my options if any? I can't stand to have a judgement on my record and without even knowing it was on its way. i made payment arrangements w/ this orgainization for the balance owed, and now i have a judgement? is this legal?

You could check at the superior court, or on its website to see what is happening with your case. If you want to e-mail me directly the case number and title of the case, I'll try to look it up and give you some guidance about where to turn.
