judgement/garnishment

I recieved a garnishment for a debt on a vehicle purchase dated back to 1994. Is there a statute of limitation??

A judgment in CA is good for ten years, and can be renewed. You might check at the courthouse to see if that's the case. If the judgment expired, then they can't attach your wages and you should retain a lawyer to help you clear things up.
