judgment

i just got out of court on a 10yrjudgment it will be up in aug of 03. I went to court on a claim of exemption. the judge denied my request and lowere my payment in half. So now that my wages are being garnished,if the lawyer doesn't renew the judgment can i go back into court for motion to vacate judgment,or since the judge denied claim of exemtption is that renewing the judgment.the judge said claim of emempt denied and money paid in installment to plaintiff till aug 03. now is he giving to the exp of judgment.this is a case from 10yrs ago for my ex boyfriend original document has me down as married to him. itried to fight that with judge but he said prove that I wasnt married please help .what evidence can i bring.

From what you've stated, it likely would be too late to avoid the judgment and reopen the case (if you had a default judgment against you). In August, 2003, I would see if the judgment was re-newed and bring motions then, which may help you. Your proof in the original case unfortunately is not terribly relevant, since you already have a proven judgment against you at this point.

Have you considered a bankruptcy? A bankruptcy might help you and get you relief from the judgment.
