does she have the right?

we are leasing a car...it was under my sister's name who is about 30 yrs old, and i am 20....i paid for everything from the down payment to the monthly payment.....for some reason she got mad at me and took the car away from me and banned me from usng it...does she have the right to do that since she didnt pay for any single penny to the car, but it was in her name?

Sounds like family law, which I don't practice, since I like a chance to have a satisfied client. You said "for some reason" your sister got mad at you. What reason was that? As the registered owner, she would be responsible, to some extent, for liability should you cause an accident, and she would be entitled to possess the car; your remedy would be a claim against her for unjust enrichment, which in the case of a leased car would not be a very big claim. By encumbering herself with the lease, she did you a very big favor, for which she evidently feels insufficiently rewarded. Why don't you take responsibility to find out for sure what her grievance is, then see if you can satisfy her.
