Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

lein on a house

Hello,

I am a furniture renter (for real estate staging). I have a customer who paid Month 1, then cancelled his credit card and has refused to pay the remaining months...until we finally pulled the furniture out of the house.

What are my legal options? I have no signed contract, but many people are aware of the agreement including the stager and his relator.

You can file suit in small claims court. Email me at [email protected] for my free e-book on small claims court.

In the future, you should have a written contract. That will help you avoid some problems.

Re: lein on a house

Small claims court probably your best option. You should invest in an attorney to draft a resuable custom contract to avoid these issues in the future and obviate the need to ask this question again.
