levy on wages of a business manger for an artist

i need to know how to file a motion with the courts that state the business manager is entitled to a certain percentage of the artist royalties. and how i levy on the artist royalties because he pays the manager. if you don't undertand my question i can probably explain it better by phone 213 739 7650

Thanks for your posting, and I think I can answer your question as follows:

"HUH?"

Artists royalties are via contract, so court motions are not normally filed. If there are unpaid royalties, then you have a breach of contract case, not a "motion that states the manager is entitled to royalties."

And what is what you have described in yoru subject heading as a "manger"? Do you mean manager, or is this a nativity scene artwork or some kind? (Just kidding).

You can't levy anything without a judgment from a court of law. That is where you start.

There is no motion which you can file with a court to accomplish what you would. You will have to file a lawsuit against the artist to enforce your contract, and I assume that you have a contract. It may be after filing the complaint, you could file a motion for summary judgment to summarily achieve your goal. Not easy. But, after you receive a judgment you can levy on royalties, or anything else.
