Lien Removal

I had a loan for an ATV which was sold to another bank. After paying off the loan the new institution refuses to remove a lien they put on the loan and issue my title. After 5 mos and multifple phone calls, I cannot get this resolved. What do you suggest?

Have a lawyer write a letter with a stringent deadline. Provide the lawyer with evidence of your satisfaction of the debt. If that doesn't work, then the lawyer can file a lawsuit.
