Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
I live in ID and I may need to sue a company in CA. The case is clear-cut, solid as a rock. The company owes me money. I have ALL required documentation for evidence. Who pays for my court fees, flight to CA, food, housing, loss of wages, while I attend court?

If you win, certain costs and expenses such as the filing fee can be added to the judgment if you make the request in the proper format and in a timely manner. However, you flight, food, housing and time off from work to attend court on not compensable. In other words, you are on your own with respect to those items regardless of what happens with your case.
.You do until you win and then some of your costs would be paid by the other side. Your living and travel expenses are not recoverable from the other side.
Good Luck and hope this helps.
