Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

loan to tenant

The person who received the loan

has emailed from her identifiable

email address that she owes the

money (including the amount) and

has outlined payment repay promise.

Does this have ANY weight in court if

she reneges? So far, she is paying

the payments.

It's a no-interest loan.

Re: loan to tenant

It does have weight in court. You will need to prove it is her email address, but if you can do that, a judge would take a look at it.
