Method of Verification

I have repeatedly disputed the same items on my credit that are not mine to no avail is the MOV request something that can help me finally get these things off of my Credit Report?

If the items are the result of identity theft, then you need to file a police report.

With whom did you dispute the erroneous information? You must first dispute the information with the credit reporting agencies (Trans-Union, Experian, and Equifax). They then have 30 day to verify the information with the party that is making the report. This 30 days can be extended another 30 days at their request. If there is no response the information should come off your credit report. If the creditor making the report communicates that the information is correct, then it stays on your creditor report, and you move on to phase 2.

If you do the above and the erroneous information is still being reported It gives you rights under the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act), and maybe the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act).
