my mom got credit in my name
I need help my mother got a credit card in my nname when i was 12 years old. the credit card is going into collection and now that i am 21 and just starting my own life this is effecting my credit and life in many ways. my mother is willing to put it in her name and i ahve told the credit company and they refuse. how can i fix this. the debit is about 4000

First of all, the fact that your mother obtained a credit card in your name is fraud, whether you are 12 or 40.
What was purchased with the credit card? The credit card companies are slow to respond until threatened with a lawsuit by an attorney who knows the law.
