Behind one month in car payment, they reposessed my car today, what are my legal
I have between the 1 and 15 of every month to make my car payment on my lease agreement so technicly I am only behind one payment I just recieved a bill for two payments for a about 800.00 a week ago, today a reposession company took it, I was told by them that I have 10 days leagally to make pyment to get the car back, which I intend on doing. However the Lease company says that I dont have any legal say to keeping the vehical and that they are not going to give it back to me at all unless I pay them 14,000 dollars which is a huge huge increase in price, I put down 8,000 dollars. what are my legal rights how can I get my car back. Oh this lease is in California state , I am currenly residing in Montana though

Your legal rights are set out and limited as set forth in you lease agreement. I suggest you read it very carefully and see what rights you do have.
