Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
Mr. McCormick, if the debt was assigned to a collection agency, and the judgment was ordered with the collection agency as the plantiff, is the judgment still concidered medical bills to them. reason for asking is because after the collection agency recieved the judgment from the courts, they excepted payment from me useing my (flexable spending acct.) FSA card, which is for medical expenses only, tax free program. is this legal for them to except this method of payment on a judgment?

This is no longer a debt and collections question. You are asking a tax question, and quite frankly one that a tax accountant is more likely to know the answer to than a lawyer.
