Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Notification of default on the 1st TD

I lent an individual money and recorded a 2nd trust deed on their property. If they default on the first, I would like to be notified. How do I set that up? Thanks....

You normally would receive one automatically at the address of record for your second deed of trust. You can also record a request for special notice with the county recorder's office if that language isn't already contained in the deed of trust that you recorded.
