Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
I ordered glasses. Got home and realized that in two months my vision insurance would pay for the frames. I called immediately to cancel and they would not. I called again the next morning, but they advised once they placed the order, they could not cancel. I found out that the mfg plant was in New Jersey and this was during Sandy. So the plant hadn't even started the order. I am in California. Please advise my rights.

I know of no California consumer protection law that gives you a right to a refund based on the facts you present. There appears to be no mistake or error on the part of the company that sold you the frames. Unless something in your paperwork regarding the purchase gives you a right to return the frames, or unless the seller has a return policy, I am afraid you have no legal recourse.
