Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

I owed about $6 or $7000 on a Citibank credit card which I stopped paying almost 7 years ago. I was called to court because they were suing me for $16000 they say I owe them. Now there is a judgement against me for $16000 and my bank put a hold on my bank accounts in order to pay Citinbank. The hold on my checking account is for $7.68 and on my savings account for $.01. Can they take more money from my account in the future? Or is this judgement a one time deal where they could never garnish my wages and never take any assests I may have in the future?

they can levy against your account again and again. They can also garnish wages and seek other assets.
