Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Owed loan

I currently have a credit card under my name only that has my ex fiancess debt on it. In order to pay off higher intrest credit cards we consolidated all of his debt onto this card. It was agreed that he would pay off these charges monthly until it was paid off. We are no longer together and he does not want to keep making payment as originally agreed. I do not have anything in writting except a few email acknowledging the debt and saying that he will try to pay it off by sending $150.00 to me each month. He has stopped sending money can I file a suit in small claims court with what I have? Thank you!

Re: Owed loan

Yes, you can. You should be able to show that his card was paid with yours.
