Am I owed money?

Hi.I went to the doctor after my insurance had run out and went on to pay about a large sum for tests etc. because my insurance said I would recieve all my money back because I was signing back on to the company from a temporary leave. Now a year later I want my money. The insurance says my doctor has been paid twice once by them and once by me. I went to my doctor and he says he doesn't have to pay it's my insurance company that is stuck with paying me. Who owes me money if I even get my money back? How do I go about getting it? thank you

And well, if the doctor did get paid twice then he is committing fraud and he owes you the money. To be in the safe side, you might want to take them both the small claims court in the same case and let the judge sort it out
